There’s nothing like a bit of winter sun is there, so let’s take a virtual trip over to Murcia in Spain, to meet three sweet rescue dogs who are currently being cared for at the Galgos del Sol sanctuary (just FYI Galgos are Spanish greyhounds!) This wonderful centre looks after around 250 ex-street dogs at any given time, while they await their forever homes. It was founded by Tina Solera, who is from the UK but has been living in Spain since 2007, and set up the sanctuary 15 years ago when she felt called to help all the stray dogs she saw in her local area.

We will be joined on the class by the lovely Rafa, a dedicated member of the team at Galgos del Sol. He will introduce us to three of the sanctuary's current residents; two of which will be up for adoption (and you can meet some potential models here) and our third will be Jet, a male Galgo who was saved after being hit by a car. Thanks to the wonderful work of the sanctuary team, Jet has made it through numerous surgeries and is on the road to adoption. Thank goodness for kind people, eh?

The class will be led by artist Jennie Webber, whose friendly and inclusive approach to teaching will suit all, from absolute beginners to seasoned pros. The class will be relaxed and informal, and there will be plenty of time for questions. Expect lots of tail wagging and screen sniffing from the friendly and inquisitive hounds! We will record the session and send it out to all ticket holders afterwards, so you can rewatch/ catch up as you please.

50% of profits will be donated to Galgos del Sol
