Event Details
For our Brighton-based Halloween special we will be exploring the unearthly underworld of creepy-crawlies and slithery, slimy species including Tarantulas, Giant Land Snails, Scorpions, Snakes and Cane Toads. Even though they may seem beastly, we will be aiming to dispel the myths surrounding these animals and fill you full of fascinating facts about their habitat adaptions, mating rituals and their secret weapons they use to fight off predators. All drawing materials and guidance provided, all abilities welcome, fancy dress encouraged!
We will be running two spooky sessions on Thursday 26th October at Draw Brighton; the first class for families will run from 5pm-6.30pm and tickets will allow one adult and one child to participate in the activity, with extra child tickets available to ensure nobody is left out! The second class will run from 7-9pm and will be open to adults of all abilities.
The drawing class is open to all, from beginners to advanced. All drawing materials are supplied, including paper and drawing boards, but please feel free to bring colours or any other specific media you might like to use. Drawing tips and guidance will be provided throughout the session. The aim of these drawing classes is to inspire a sense of appreciation and understanding for the animals and their conservation in the wider world.
Wild Life Drawing is working with the finest animal handlers, sanctuaries and organisations to put on these events. All the animals that attend the sessions are well used to humans and different environments and are always accompanied by experienced handlers, their welfare is our highest priority.
Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferable to another name. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch with Jennie on: info@wildlifedrawing.co.uk
