The coastlines of the British Isles are home to some truly fascinating species; mesmerising Cuttlefish, wonderfully weird Wolf Fish, dexterous Octopi and jaunty Snipefish to mention just a few! This January, join us to draw all these and more at our Natives Seas after hours special at the London aquarium.

At the beginning of the class, one of the aquarium’s marine experts will give a talk about our coastlines and the species who call them home, as well as discussing sustainable fishing practices. The class will be lead by artist Jennie Webber who will help you get into the flow of things with a drawing demo and her top tips on sketching moving animals. You will then be free to float about the place sketching whichever marine marvels catch your eye.

Our classes are open to all artistic abilities. We are firm believers that drawing is for everyone, and celebrate all artistic styles! The focus for the session will be to enjoy the creative process while learning about animals and conservation. We will provide everything you need to get sketching- drawing boards, paper and a range of materials- but you’re welcome to bring along your own kit if you’d like to.

Here at Wild Life Drawing we are a small team who are dedicated to animal welfare. We only ever work with the finest animal handlers, who treat their animals with care and respect, and healthy animals who are happy being around humans. 50% of your ticket price will be donated to the aquarium’s partner charity SEA Life Trust to support their work protecting marine life around the world.

Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be moved to another class, but can be transferred to another name- just get in touch to let us know who will be attending. We do sometimes have waiting lists for sessions, so if the class you have tickets for is sold out and you can’t make it, please email info@wildlifedrawing.co.uk with as much notice as possible and we will try our best to re-allocate your tickets. If we are able to do so you will be given a credit for another class.
