Event Details
Due to popular request, on Thursday 21st July we'll be back drawing and exploring underwater worlds at Charterhouse Aquatics. This unassuming railway arch houses all kinds of colourful exotic fish, living coral reefs, sharks, eels, jellyfish, clams, shrimps and crabs. The class will commence with a tour of the aquarium from a specialist at Charterhouse, where we'll be learning about the different species and their carefully balanced ecosystems, plus the urgent issue of coral bleaching due to climate change. Expect to leave this class relaxed and calm – drawing underwater animals is a zen-like experience!
The drawing class is open to all, from beginners to advanced. All drawing materials are supplied, including paper, but please feel free to bring colours or any other specific media you might like to use. The aim is to inspire a sense of appreciation and understanding for the animals and their conservation in the wider world.
Wild Life Drawing is working with the finest animal sanctuaries and organisations to put on this event – the welfare of the animals is our highest priority. Money from tickets sales goes towards their continued hard work for the conservation and protection of the animals. Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferable to another name.
