Our next online drawing class is especially for all you avid guinea pig lovers out there! We will be meeting and drawing eight charming guinea pigs via Zoom, broadcasting live from their home at Spitalfields City Farm. Originally rescued from South Essex Wildlife Hospital, these guinea pigs vary in colouring and hairstyles and will be chattering away to us in their own guinea pig language while we draw them.

The class will begin with an introduction from WLD founder and artist Jennie Webber, who will take you through the basics of drawing animals from life. There will be a drawing demonstration of how to draw guinea pigs, with special tips on the (potato based) shapes to look out for! We will then switch screens to be introduced live to the animals with fun facts from Jenny on the farm with the opportunity to ask any questions that you like. All the animals will have specialised enrichment activities and plenty of greenery to snack on and comfy spots to snooze so we will see these animals at their most relaxed and natural!

The basic materials you need to take part are paper, a pencil, eraser and sharpener, but of course you are more than welcome to work in whatever materials you enjoy or have to hand. Please get in touch if you need advice on materials, we're happy to help! You will be emailed the Zoom link to join and some reference images 24 hour before the event is due to start.

Money from the ticket sales for this event will go towards keeping the farm going, and making sure the animals are kept fed and watered during this tough time.

What is the Handling Charge for?

To ensure tickets are delivered safely and securely and to keep the price as low as possible for you, the ticket buyer, Wild Life Drawing generally uses our E-ticket system unless otherwise stated.

For this service we charge a small Handling Fee to cover the debit/credit card processing fees, customer services, processing and distribution of tickets and our secure server costs. We always try to keep these costs to an absolute minimum. If you feel at any time that our prices are not fair or competitive we'd be happy to hear from you.

Delivery

If you have ordered physical paper tickets there is a further Delivery cost added to cover the delivery of your order through the Royal Mail network.

We always endeavour to keep these costs as low as possible to merely cover the costs of postage. We only charge you one Delivery cost per order so if there is a big group of you recommend purchasing larger amounts in one order.

When you purchase tickets through Wild Life Drawing, the full face value of the ticket is shown. This price is the price set by the event organiser and we pay this full amount to the organiser without any deductions.
